Considering Goals. Octopot Education:
Before you grow it is important to have an idea what you want to accomplish.  What are your goals?  One reason for growing is to provide quality care for patients and people in need.  Not everyone may have the resources to grow their own meds.  This is where the role of a caregiver may arise.  Some states allow individuals (patients) to designate their own cannabis caregiver to acquire or grow cannabis for them.
If you've taken on this important task to legally grow for others, then a reliable and simple way to grow is paramount.  You may not have time to experiment with DIY systems and complicated setups.  When patients rely on you, it's crucial to have a proven grow system you can rely on to produce quality meds.

Here's a sneak peek at one of our chapters (of many) on the very broad topic of light.  Specifically light spectrum.  With so many options for artificial lighting out there it's important to grasp the various characteristics of the light spectra.  We look at what each nanometer range (light "color") can do.  There's a lot of information to absorb so feel free to pause and play the video at your own pace.

Like with many things we appreciate how much we "stand on the shoulders of giants," through life.  Though much of the information can be found scattered across the internet, we see it as a service to our community to gather it all in one place and share the Octopot growing curriculum for your betterment and convenience.
To kick things off we'll be addressing goals.  Before you begin any grow endeavor it is important to consider what exactly you wish to get out of your grow journey and establish some goals.  Check out the short slideshow video on some of the goals we may address coming up.
